With many years of experience and skill, we maintain the deceased in the best possible condition and achieve safe transport.

FEATURE

Outbound and inbound international transport

  • Receiving remains from abroad · sending remains overseas We work with embassy staff and carry out procedures in line with each country’s regulations. Our extensive repatriation track record allows you to entrust this process with confidence.
We can perform embalming followed by international shipment, and we can receive remains arriving from overseas.

  • Embalming and cremation IMS JAPAN can arrange transport after preservation and embalming, or after cremation. As part of a group with broad funeral-related operations in Japan, we can coordinate domestic transport to the airport smoothly.
Our staff are also experienced in arranging cremation when required.

  • Airline and country-specific requirements We can arrange caskets that meet your country’s and carrier’s rules for international shipment, and packing methods that comply with air transport regulations. Experienced embalmers at IMS JAPAN handle embalming through shipping preparation as one continuous service.

  • Cultural practice and Japanese law We handle the deceased in keeping with your country’s cultural and religious expectations. Please share your wishes when we meet. Within the scope of Japanese law, we will propose what can be done.
