Message: Dignified Funeral Rites

IMS JAPAN

IMS JAPAN inc. was established in 1988 to provide embalming services, which did not exist in Japan at that time. Currently, there are many embalmers in our group, and IMS JAPAN inc. has performed 7727 embalming procedures (as of 2023) out of 16824 procedures (as of 2023) performed by the Alpha Club Group throughout Japan.

Embalming is a technique to embalm, quarantine, preserve, and restore the body in pursuit of funeral aesthetics for a beautiful farewell and dignified end. From a public health perspective as well, embalming is not used to ensure the safety of the bereaved family and other concerned parties, as the body is at risk of becoming a medium for various infectious diseases and infections.

As the world moves toward a more traditional funeral service, we will continue to improve our techniques and strive to provide more beautiful and dignified services. We would like to ask for your continued support and cooperation.

With the development of an internationalized society, the number of people stationed overseas or entering Japan from abroad has been increasing significantly. The embalming process allows for the long-term preservation, restoration, and transportation of remains in the event of an unexpected death abroad or in the event that a foreigner dies in Japan, making it possible to hold a funeral service without time constraints.
